Group social walks

Once a month we organise a group social walk. A brilliant opportunity for owners with sociable dogs to meet and get together and to raise funds for charities. All dogs must be approved by St Rochs before attending.

All dogs must be kept on a lead, unless at certain times we may state otherwise, and please do not forget to bring water/water bowl.

The length and duration of the walk will be dependent upon your dog’s capabilities. We aim to walk for an hour but, for example, if you have an older dog or a puppy then you will have to leave the walk much earlier.

The walks are FREE but we do ask for a minimum donation of £2.00 to be donated towards a charity.

We also ask and would be extremely grateful that if you have any spare doggy items that you no longer require such as collars, leads, blankets, toys, half bags of food etc. to bring them with you so that we can then donate them to smaller independent dog rescues for the not so fortunate doggies in their care.

Please contact us for details of the next upcoming walk

Canine alternative therapies

At St Rochs we are truly passionate about helping our dogs to live as stress free and pain free lives as possible. A stress and pain free dog is a happy and contented dog and less likely to present with unwanted behaviours.

As part of our training and behaviour modification programmes, and providing your dog has had a PRIOR veterinary check-up, we sometimes recommend holistic therapies as an addition.

PLEASE NOT THAT THESE THERAPIES ARE AN ADDITION AND NOT MEANT TO REPLACE VETERINARY PROCEDURES OR MEDICINES .IF YOUR DOG IS IN PAIN , HAS A MEDICAL ISSUE ,OR IS SEVERELY STRESSED THEN WE ADVISE YOU TO VISIT YOUR VET IMEDIATELY AND SEEK VETERINARY HELP.

Herbal supplements

We are trained product advisors in Dorwest Herbal medicines and dietary supplements.

They have a range of products, of which 6 are veterinary licensed and proven to be safe, pure and effective. They can be given in conjunction with any other orthodox veterinary medicines or herbal products and do not require a prescription.

Please contact us for more details.
